Quintiles Bracknell Half Marathon 2010
Bracknell Forest Council, the organiser of the Bracknell Half Marathon, is delighted to announce that Quintiles has agreed to continue its sponsorship for the 2010 Quintiles Bracknell Half Marathon.
Preparations for the race are underway, and the organisers have decided that the race will take place on Sunday 9 May 2010, once again starting and finishing in the picturesque grounds of South Hill Park Arts Centre. The race starts at 9am.
Entries for the race are now available online or www.runnersworld.co.uk. The entry fee for the 2010 event will be £14.
The race has sold out for the past three years, and is once again expected to in 2010. To avoid disappointment, runners are advised to enter early. However runners should note that once an entry fee has been paid it is neither transferable to another runner nor refundable.
Due to the nature of the course, organisers regret that they will not accept entries from wheelchair users.
Results from the past few years are available from Sport Systems.
Official Race Charities 2010
Quintiles, the official sponsor of the Bracknell Half Marathon, has announced its official charities for the 2010 race, which are Cancer Research UK and Get Kids Going! Runners may still run for the charities of their own choice. However, those runners that would like to run for charity, but are undecided about which ones, are encouraged to support the official charities.
