In our three fantastic pools we are able to offer an incredibly wide range of swimming courses. For water babies making the first splash, synchronised swimmers, competition hopefuls and our excellent courses for nervous swimmers we will have a course to suit you. Swimming exercises every major muscle group in your body making it the ideal activity for people of any age or ability to improve strength, stamina, flexibility as well as body tone and weight loss. Pool dimensions
- 12.5m learner pool (up to 0.75m deep)
- 25m training pool (1m – 1.5m deep)
- 25m competition pool (1.25m – 3m deep) - Please note this pool is for competent swimmers only.
Pool temperatures
- Learner pool 31-32°C (88-90°F)
- Training pool 29-30°C (84-86°F)
- Competition pool 26-27°C (79-81°F)

Healthy swimming - before entering the pool
- Parents with babies
Please use leakproof swim pants. If your baby has had diarrhoeal illness in the last two weeks, it is recommended that you do not use the swimming pool. Please ask for further advice. - Parents with young children
Please ensure your child uses the toilet and showers thoroughly using soap before they swim. If your child has had a diarrhoeal illness recently, it is recommended that they do not use the swimming pool. Please ask for details. - Adults
