The Look Out Discovery Centre has extensive facilities for visitors with disabilities.

- Four parking spaces reserved for Blue Badge holders. These are outside the main entrance to the building, at the end of the entrance road.
- The main entrance doors are automatic double width doors.
- There are two toilets reserved for visitors with disabilities. One is a newly installed super-loo, which can be accessed via the lobby area. It is equipped with a ‘shower toilet’, a large changing bed (with electric hoist), and an adjustable height wash basin. This toilet is accessible by 'radar key'.
- An additional disabled toilet is located by the Refresh Coffee Shop. Both toilets have grab rails and are fitted with an alarm.
All of our exhibits and shows can be accessed by visitors with disabilities, with the exception of The Look Out Tower. Views from tower can be seen via a controllable video telescope situated in the Sound and Communication zone. - A ramp is installed to allow easy access between the courtyard and main exhibition hall, via an automatic door.
- A lift is available in the main exhibition hall, to allow access to the first-floor exhibits.
- Wheelchair access throughout the building, courtyard, and patio areas.
- Our staff have undergone disability awareness training.
Members of staff have a range of sign-language abilities.- Our general information literature is available in large print, braille,
audio-cassette and some foreign languages. - Our ambition is for all our visitors to have a safe and enjoyable visit to the centre. If there are any additional arrangements which would facilitate this, or you require any additional information, please call The Look Out Discovery Centre on 01344 354400, Minicom on 01344 352405, or contact us by email at thelookout@bracknell-forest gov.uk.
