Gardening for Wildlife Leaflet out now!
A new leaflet has now been published titled "Gardening for Wildlife". Copies are available on request from the Biodiversity Officer or to download from the right hand side.
Garden Wildlife Survey
As part of Bracknell Forest Council's ongoing commitment to conserve local wildlife, we want to gain a better understanding of wildlife abundance and distribution. Please help us by filling out the form on the new leaflet or by recording it on our Garden Wildlife Survey Form.
For more information see related pages:
As part of the Wildlife Surveyors project we would like to hear from you. Use the online recording form to let us know if you have seen any of the Bracknell 24 Biodiversity Action Plan species or anything else you think might be special in the Borough. Click on Wildlife Surveying on the right.
Please check our parks and countryside events list for more walks!
You can also help birds in your own garden, here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Set-up a bird-feeding station
- Install a bird bath
- Plant native trees and shrubs
- Put up bird boxes
- Nest Box Challenge
We hope to find out more about local species like the bullfinch, which is a Bracknell Forest Biodiversity Action Plan species. If you have seen one, see our factsheet and send us your sightings.
