Haley Green Wood is located across playing fields off Westmorland Drive, Warfield. Car parking is available at Westmorland Park Pavillion, Westmorland Drive, Warfield RG42 3QP.

The site lies mainly on London Clay and is comprised of mixed deciduous woodland such as ash, willow and silver birch. It has a varied history being once a part of Warfield Park and with more recent industrial uses. During 2002 Hayley Green Wood was incorporated into Westmorland Park and is an important local habitat for wildlife.
Haley Green Wood is one of the sites that took part in the Woodland Project (2001-2004).

- Grass snakes searching the undergrowth for frogs to eat
- A wide range of wild flowers such as Ox-eye daisy, Self heal and Foxglove.
