A small ancient woodland copse used to be set in an open rural farmland landscape. House building in the 1990s enclosed the copses, which had been derelict and unmanaged for quite some time prior to this. It now provides a valuable wildlife oasis within the urban area.
Temple Copse is one of the sites that took part in the Woodland Project (2001-2004).
- Specimens of Wild Service Tree, highlighted as a tree to protect in the Bracknell Forest Council Biodiversity Action Plan can be found.
- Foraging badgers looking for worms and grubs at dusk.
- Carpets of bluebells in the woodland glades.
