Hands-on, experiential learning has introduced children to the wildlife and management of these Copses, fostering a curiosity and understanding of nature. Classes from Whitegrove and Meadow Vale schools, nurseries and Rainbow, Brownie and Guide groups all make regular visits to their local woods.

The woods have been a wonderful focus for bringing the local community closer together whilst caring for and enjoying wildlife on their doorstep.
- 'Friends' groups for Farley Copse and Piggy Wood have been established and are a great way to find out what's happening in the woods and meet new people. Warfield Environment Group have officially adopted Hayley Green Wood and have regular conservation events in the wood.
- Bracknell Conservation Volunteers and Bracknell Urban Wildlife Group have been invaluable in carrying out a wide range of practical conservation tasks around the woodland sites.
- STEP Forward have helped to improve the wildlife value of the woods whilst enjoying the benefits of working in the outdoors.
- Bracknell Forest Resource and Opportunity Centre (BROC), a social and educational centre for adults with learning disabilities have enjoyed walks in the woods and regularly help with conservation work needed on many of our countryside sites.
- Ravenswood students have enjoyed seasonal walks around one of the woodland sites.
Many thanks to all those who have offered their ongoing time and support through this project
