The Look Out invites parents to bring their little ones to these special days for both parent and toddlers. For more details please look at the Toddler Days at The Look Out leaflet in the downloads section on the right hand side of this page.

- 28 and 29 April 2010 - Make and Take Theme - Pirates and Fairies
- 8 and 9 September 2010 - At the Beach
- 10 and 11 November 2010 - Farm animals
- 9 and 10 December 2010 - Christmas
Toddlers and The Look Out
The Look Out is very popular with toddlers. In particular, they enjoy playing with boats in the "stream", love taking pictures of their shadow, play supermarket, the ball pond, rolling balls, pushing buttons and generally having a good time. The only reason toddlers cry here is when they have to leave! There is a special Parent and Toddler admission charge for children under the age of 4, during the week in term time.
Activity cards and discovery sheets
Parent and toddler activity cards give seasonal nature activities to enjoy in the woods with a few ideas to try at home. There are discovery sheets for 3-5 year olds. These concentrate on just a few of the exhibits at The Look Out and give ideas to do at home. The Discovery Sheets are linked to the Early Learning Goals for the Foundation Stage.
