e+ smartcardBracknell Forest Library and Information Service works to provide a comprehensive library service to everyone who lives, works or studies in the borough. It provides open access to knowledge, cultural works and information to support the educational, leisure and information needs of the community in Bracknell Forest.

Come along to one of three talks including illustrations and artefacts, taking place at your local library.

2008 Man Booker Prize winner announced
Aravind Adiga has won the 2008 Man Booker Prize for Fiction with his novel The White Tiger.

Volunteers from the Berkshire Family History Society’s Bracknell and Wokingham branch will be in Bracknell Library on the second Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 5pm to help residents research their family trees.

We offer access to reputable reference databases from your computer, whenever you have that niggling little question you don’t know the answer to. We subscribe to a number of databases to satisfy that quest. Whether it’s that ‘Who wants to be a millionaire moment’, more in-depth enquiries, helping the kids with their homework, what was happening in the world on your birthday, are you really related to the royal family… we’ll have the answer for you.
