How to reserve items

You can reserve any item we have in stock that is available for loan. You need to be a member of the library to do this. If you do not have a library card please visit our page about how to join the library.

To reserve items:

  • go to our online library catalogue
  • search for the item
  • click on 'Reserve this item' 
  • log in with your library membership card number and enter your PIN
  • select the library where you want to pick up your item 
  • confirm your request

Alternatively, you can come into one of our libraries and fill in a request form at the counter.

* There is a £1 non-refundable deposit for this service. Please provide your local library with as much information as possible about the book you require. We will try to get the book for you from another library service, local authority or the British Library.
