Limiting the Impact of Development Supplementary Planning Document
We have prepared and published a supplementary planning document on Limiting the Impact of Development (LID). This document was adopted as an SPD at a meeting of the Executive of Bracknell Forest Borough Council on 24 July 2007.
This SPD sets out how we will ensure speed, transparency and consistency in the implementation of Local Plan policies through the negotiation of planning obligations.
It identifies the infrastructure and other requirements that are likely to be sought and provides guidance on standard formulae for calculating contributions. It also contains a word version of a model Section 106 agreement.
Following an Executive decision on 20 March 2012, the
Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area Avoidance and Mitigation SPD (PDF, 4892kb)
was adopted. SPA developer contributions have been brought up to date in line with current policy. This will be a material consideration in the determination of planning applications validated from 29 March 2012. This new SPD supersedes Section 11 and Appendix C of the Limiting the Impact of Development SPD.
The Limiting the Impact of Development SPD can be downloaded, along with other related information, below:
Please note that, following an Executive decision on 5 July 2011, for planning applications validated between 14 July 2011 and 28 March 2012, the revised Chapter 11 and appendices B and C apply as below:
