Children and Families
In this section you will find information on a range of topics related to specialist services for children and families in Bracknell Forest such as fostering and adoption, services for children and young people experiencing mental health problems, details of Child Protection Procedures and a resource guide for children with Special Needs.
More information for children and families, including education-related issues can be found in the ‘Learning’ section of our website.
The Family Information Service is the only source of information on Ofsted registered childcare such as childminders, pre-schools and day nurseries. In addition, staff are able to provide information on a wide range of other services for parents and carers of children up to the age of 20, for example, health, schools and education, family support and parenting, as well as sport and leisure. The service is also available to professionals working with children and families.
