ListenThere are many children and young people in Bracknell Forest who benefit from being able to live in a stable and caring family environment, other than their own, either on a short or long term basis.
What We Do
The Family Placement Team are responsible for:
- Adoption including:
- Counselling of birth parents whose children are being placed for adoption
- Counselling of adults who were adopted as children
- Adoption from abroad (inter-country adoption)
- Post adoption services
- Step-parent adoption
- Foster care
- Short break care
- Private fostering
- Special guardianship
- Supported lodgings
