The Hollies

The Hollies Children’s Centre serves the communities of Amen Corner, Binfield and Farley Wood. All sessions that are provided will be held in local community halls, church halls and other community buildings so keep an eye out for what sessions are coming up.

Some sessions are not suitable for Childminders.

We will be at Newbold Church every Wednesday morning from 10 – 12 noon. Please do pop in and see us, were around all morning if you would like to have a chat and a cuppa!! We would welcome your visit. You can also call us on 01344 317020.

Bumps and Babies
Wednesdays 10.30 – 12noon at Newbold Church, St. Marks Road, Binfield RG42 4AN

A friendly welcoming session for mums, dads and their babies (suitable for parents to be and babies up to the age of one). Time out to chat, sharing experiences, making new friends, knowing your not alone, baby messy play, talks from professionals and the occasional outings are just a few things you can do in the Bumps and Babies group.

Speech and Language
The speech and language team run various drop in session across Bracknell Forest where you can drop in and get advice and support on your child’s speech development. These are held at:

Mondays at The Oaks Children’s Centre 9-11.30am
Wednesdays at Skimped Hill Health Centre 9–11.30am
First Thursday of the Month at The Rowans Children’s Centre 9–11.30am
First Friday of the month at The Alders Children’s Centre 9 – 11.30am

Parent and Baby Courses
These courses are a great way to spend time with your baby. There are limited spaces so please book in advance. Membership prices apply. Please call us on 01344 317020 for more information and to book.

Breastfeeding Drop In
Are you new to breastfeeding? Would you like advice and support? Why not come along to one of the Children’s Centre Breastfeeding Drop in sessions. Take a look at the other centres fliers for dates, times and locations of where these are being held.

Stay and Play
Have children under the age of 5 and would like something different to do with them in the holidays? Come along to the Hollies Stay and Play activity sessions. Older brothers and sisters are welcome.

Shelter Appointments
Morning appointments available at various locations across Bracknell Forest.

A helping hand to support families facing problems with their housing. Free and Confidential advice available for any family using a children’s centre.

Do you and your family speak another language? Come along to one of the Family groups which are held at various locations across Bracknell Forest. Groups that are currently available are Polish, Cantonese, Russian, German, Bulgarian, Spanish Hindi, Punjabi & Gujarati.
