The Oaks

The Oaks Children’s Centre is based on the site of Great Hollands Primary School and serves the communities of Great Hollands, Wooden Hill, Jennett’s Park, Birch Hill and Hanworth. The centre supports children under 5 and their families and/or carers.

- Baby massage, baby yoga and baby sign workshops
- Paediatric first aid and baby resuscitation workshops
- Joint Play Ranger sessions for under 5’s
- Coffee and breakfast mornings
- Breastfeeding support and advice group
- Free adult maths and English courses (including crèche)
- Speech and language drop-in service
- Baby clinic

Do I have to pay?
All sessions are free unless otherwise stated.
Visit Us
Our opening times are 8.30 am – 4.30 pm Monday–Friday.
Parking
There is no visitor parking on the school site. Please use the large free car park at the back of the shops (end of Wordsworth).
Further information
Dump your dummy – The Oaks is a dummy free zone. Staff will ask if your toddler would like to leave their dummy with the dummy bear whilst in the centre. This is to support E-Cat (Every Child a Talker) however, if your toddler is upset or tired please just ask for it back.
Family Outreach Support Worker – we all have times in our lives when we need help and support. For more information please call The Oaks Family Outreach Worker on 01344 317027 or Reception on 01344 317020.
Healthy Eating/Drinking - The Oaks follows a healthy eating and drinking policy. Refreshments are provided for you - please do not bring your own food and drink to the centre.
