This Scheme offers a low cost short term therapeutic intervention, taking place in an After School Club setting, running for 1.5 hrs session per week over 10 weeks. Pyramid Clubs target year 3 children who have been identified by their teachers using Goodmans Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire as having low self esteem, poor social skills or low confidence. Due to the short term nature of the Club children highlighted with other needs are signposted to other more appropriate agencies.
Activities in the club are Circle time, Arts and Crafts, Games, Food Preparation and Sharing and an outing.
