Post Adoption Services

Post adoption services in Bracknell Forest aim to:

Ensure that adopted children and their families have straightforward access to adoption support services
Provide access to those services through the eligibility and assessment procedures described below
Support adoptive parents and their children so as to enable placements which may be in difficulty to continue successfully
Ensure that where ongoing structured provision is to be provided, post adoption support plans are developed in full consultation with both adoptive parents and children
Ensure that post adoption plans established for children adopted within Bracknell Forest, including plans for indirect or direct contact with birth family members, will be established with the primary objective of meeting the needs of the adopted child
