LSCB Conference

LSCB Annual Conference this year will be Tuesday 19th June 2012 at the Coppid Beech Hotel.

The overall theme of the conference will be 'safeguarding younger children' and will very much build on the learning from the Serious Case Review.

I am pleased to say that we have secured two excellent national speakers for the event, Sally Knock from the NSPCC, Development Manager of the 'All Babies Count' programme; and Rebecca Brown from the Centre for Child and Family Research (who have a DfE contract to research into protecting very young children and understanding the impact of risk on their life chances).

We will be offering a wide range of workshops, which will include workshops aimed at staff and volunteers working with older children and young people.
