The purpose of the Safeguarding Toolkit

Bracknell Forest Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) has designed the Safeguarding Toolkit to support all Partners working with children, young people or families in Bracknell Forest to:

• Clearly and simply identify our shared responsibilities for Safeguarding children and young people;
• Provide tools, or exemplars, to support all of us to meet these responsibilities.

The LSCB envisages that partners may wish to use the Safeguarding Toolkit to inform audit or planning cycles, and to prepare for inspections i.e. School’s SEF, OFSTED inspections, etc.
