Short Break Care Scheme

The Short Break Care Scheme is a new support care service run for families by the Family Placement Team.

We want to hear from people with the time to spare to give children and families the chance to live normal lives, to make friends with another family and take part in social activities which they would otherwise not be able to.

Short breaks are planned in advance and range from 'a supper and sleep-over', to a short stay for a weekend or a week or two.

If you are interested in becoming a short break carer, read on and complete an expression of interest form. One of our team will then contact you shortly.
