The aim of Social Services is to make sure that local people get the best possible care during the times in their lives when they need help.
We are commited to providing quality services. We welcome your comments and suggestions because they let us know when we have done something right and help us to know when we need improve.
Compliments
We hope that your experience of our service has been a good one and it really helps us when you tell us this. What you say will be passed on to the relevant staff and included in our annual report.
Complaints
There may be occasions when you are unhappy with what we are doing for you or you feel that you are being denied the help you need.
When this happens, you have the right to complain. The Health and Social Care Act 2003 requires the Council to set up a simple to use complaints procedure, which can be used by anyone who is dissatisfied with the actions of the department.
