Private, Independent and Voluntary Sector Learning and Development
Welcome to PIV social care learning and workforce development.
Here you will find information about the training provided by Bracknell Forest Council to support social care providers in the private, independent and voluntary sector. Our goal is to provide organisations and individuals with a range of courses, qualifications and development opportunities to support staffing this important area.
The majority of courses are currently funded although some may attract a small charge. The funding and charging process is under continuous review and subject to change.
Who are these courses for?
Priority will be given to organisations and individuals that are working within a contractual arrangement (including Service Level Agreements) to provide care to adults, children and young people that fall under the auspices of Bracknell Forest Council.
This includes people in receipt of direct payment and their PAs
In addition places may be offered to other organisations and individuals that are able to demonstrate health and social care outcomes for residents of Bracknell Forest subject to approval by the Central Unit for Learning and Development.
