Safeguarding Adults Forum

The Bracknell Forest Safeguarding Adults Forum, formerly known as the Adult Protection Forum, seeks to raise the issue of adult protection within the local community and ensure that models of good practice are identified and followed.

The Forum provides an opportunity for local stakeholders to raise issues and identify areas for improvement both locally and nationally. These issues can then be addressed at the East-Berkshire Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board and the South East Region Adult Protection Co-ordinators Forum.

It also provides an opportunity for those members of the community who use our services to participate in the development of policy and practice within the social care sector across Bracknell Forest.

The Forum meets quarterly and is chaired by the Council's Assistant Director of Community Care. Membership is from a wide base including the voluntary sector, statutory agencies, providers of regulated services and users of social care services.

The minutes of previous Forum meetings are available in the downloads section on the right.
