Bracknell Forest 'Virtual' Neighbourhood Forum Pilot Project
Bracknell Forest Council is always looking for ways of engaging with local neighbourhoods and obtaining the views of residents.
In 2005, in partnership with Thames Valley Police, local Neighbourhood Action Groups (NAGs) were set up to facilitate this process, and now each NAG holds an annual forum to consult with residents on neighbourhood issues.
For those who are unable to attend a local forum but who still want to give their views, the Chairmen of the NAGs decided to hold a pilot project of 'virtual' forums across 3 neighbourhoods:
- Sandhurst
- Birch Hill and Hanworth
- Great Hollands
The Bracknell Forest Online NAG Forums are taking place alongside the autumn round of 'actual' Neighbourhood Forums which are taking place across the Borough.
The forums will be subject to the terms of use and privacy policy.
This is a pilot project and will finish at the end of December 2008. The results will then be discussed at the Council’s Community Cohesion and Engagement working groups where it will be decided how to proceed.
