ListenSOLACE Film – Take Pride Efforts Recognized
In September 2011 Bracknell Forest Council was invited by the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE) to produce a film which would showcase our approach to working with communities to increase levels of volunteering, community participation and responsibility. The film was shown at SOLACE's annual conference in Edinburgh in early October to enable other local authorities to learn from some of the good practice on show across Bracknell Forest. The production of the film was a partnership effort and the film showed how the private, public and voluntary and community sector are working together to engage communities in volunteering and taking responsibility of community issues across the borough.
