Take Pride
The aim of 'Take Pride' is to encourage and assist volunteering activities in the Bracknell Forest area. 'Take Pride' is a campaign run jointly between Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action, Bracknell Forest Council and Thames Valley Police.
The 'Take Pride' campaign represents an ideal opportunity for volunteers to become directly involved in making a positive difference to the environment of our community. Volunteering is a great way to share skills, knowledge and leisure time with like minded others to improve the quality of life in our community.
To register to volunteer please complete the Take Pride volunteer registration form. For further information on 'Take Pride' and volunteering please contact Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action’s Volunteer Recruitment Officer using the contact details on the right of this page.

How can I get involved?
Bracknell Forest Council in association with Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action run and co-ordinate Take Pride. This is to help integrate Take Pride with other volunteering activities and to make sure there is a “one stop shop” for volunteers to find out information about activities taking place in the borough.
What kind of activities can I get involved in?
There is a wide range of volunteering activities currently available. These include community clean ups, community gardens, conservation projects, speed monitoring and crime awareness patrols. Please see Activities You Can Get Involved In for further information.
Can I organise volunteering events?
Absolutely! The aim of the 'Take Pride' campaign is to encourage and help local people to organise and perform volunteering events to tackle issues that are of concern in their communities. The Council and/or the Police will where possible provide the necessary equipment and help to co-ordinate and promote events and provide safety advice.
