Victim Support

Bracknell and District Victim Support Scheme logo

Victim Support Bracknell & District is a branch of Victim Support Berkshire - an independent charity set up to provide free, confidential support to the victims of crime their family and friends, or indeed anyone affected by criminal behaviour.

We cover Bracknell, Crowthorne, Sandhurst and parts of Ascot and Wokingham.

The office is manned each working day from 09:00 to 16:00 and we normally work on an appointments system.

We offer support from our accredited team who are trained to help with problems that arise at a time like this. Our volunteers are carefully selected, CRB checked, trained to a high level and their casework is professionally managed. They have identification cards that they will present on contact.

Types of support

  • Time to talk about the crime and the way it affects you
  • What help is available to you as a crime victim
  • Assess what needs to be done in helping you deal with the impact of the crime
  • Help to make you, your family and your property safe
  • Help you assert your rights of service set out in the Victim Act
  • Through our Witness Service provide support when attending Crown Court or Magistrates Court

If you would like to more about the service, or are interested in becoming a volunteer please contact us using the details on the right.
