Love food, hate waste

29 April 2014

Find out how to save money by cutting down the amount of food you waste.

A free ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ workshop takes place on Tuesday, 20 May, at Bracknell’s Open Learning Centre, in Chadwick Mews next to The Brakenhale School.

The workshop runs from 9.30am until 12noon and is all about helping you make the most of the food you buy, saving you money and raising awareness about the environmental impact of wasting food.

The fun and interactive session will cover some fascinating research on food waste and will bust some of the myths which contribute to food waste.

There will be information about the storage, freezing and defrosting, what date labels really mean and how retailers are helping.

A full support pack will available to everyone who attends.
