Each year the council elects a Mayor to represent the borough at various events and to raise money for charity.Councillor Mrs Jan Angell

Councillor Mrs Jan Angell was elected Mayor on Wednesday 15 May 2013. The Mayor's Consort is Councillor Bob Angell.

During the mayor-making ceremony Councillor Mrs Angell introduced the new Deputy Mayor, Councillor Alan Kendall.

About the Mayor

Councillor Mrs Angell has been a ward councillor for Great Hollands South since 2007.

Councillor Mrs Angell said, "As Mayor, I hope to meet as many people from Bracknell Forest as possible and to celebrate and support the events and achievements of the community."

"My charity will be Thames Hospicecare and I hope you will support the many fundraising events I will be holding throughout the year."

Please submit your request at least two weeks before your event as the Mayor may not be able to accept late requests.
