Mayor keeps residents up-to-date on Twitter

From opening summer fetes and attending charity collection days, to taking part in the annual civic service and meeting volunteers - no two days are the same for the Mayor of the borough of Bracknell Forest.

Cllr Mrs Jennie McCracken and her consort, Cllr Iain McCracken, expect to attend around 300 events in a jam-packed schedule for the 2012/2013 municipal year.

So, to keep residents up to date when she's out and about in the borough, the Mayor will be tweeting on Twitter. You can follow her at her Twitter page. 

Cllr Mrs McCracken said: "There are so many events coming up during the mayoral year and I'm meeting so many wonderful people.

 "I hope our residents will find my tweets interesting. Twitter is a great way to communicate and I hope I'll be able to share some of my experiences in our community with our community in a really immediate way."
