Fire closes Edgbarrow Sports Centre

Edgbarrow Sports Centre in Crowthorne will remain closed this week while the clear-up continues after the boiler room fire on December 23. Customers are advised to contact staff at Sandhurst Sports Centre on 01344 778836 between 8am and 5.30pm for advice and information about alternative activities and venues. Staff will also contact residents who have booked children's parties at Edgbarrow Sports Centre as the party date approaches. All Edgbarrow gym users can use the fitness centre at Sandhurst Sports Centre on a casual basis. All annual and direct debit members can use the facilities at the Bracknell Leisure Centre. Sandhurst Sports Centre is open as usual this week for indoor bookings only. The outdoor pitches are closed because of the adverse weather. Standard opening times are as follows: Mon - Fri 5.30pm - 11pm Sat/Sun 9.30am - 6.30pm Further details about the re-opening of Edgbarrow Sports Centre will be published on the Bracknell Forest Council website as they become available or residents can call the customer contact centre on 01344 352000.
