Digital TV Service
You can access a range of local services from the comfort of your armchair using your TV. The service is available to everyone in the Bracknell Forest area with Sky or Virgin Media digital television, or a Freeview box with modem. You can also access the content through a mobile phone with WAP or GPRS.

- Find contact details and opening times for Council services
- Search for jobs locally or across the country using the Job Centre Plus database
- Access train and bus timetables, Citizen’s Advice Bureau – even book a doctor’s appointment (subject to your GP surgery’s participation)

TV Keys via Miniweb
- Press the Interactive button on your Sky remote control
- Select TV Keys from the menu (option 9)
- Enter the word 'LOCAL' with the remote control and press 'select'

Step 1
- Press Interactive #8 (Directgov)
- Press 'Select' on welcome page
- Press '1 - Local Services'
Step 2
- Select appropriate regional menu or Press '1 - Search for your area'
Please note that there is a 'Local Call Rate' charge for accessing Looking Local via DirectGov on SKY.
Virgin Media
- Press the Interactive button on your remote
- Select News and Info from the menu
- Select Looking Local

Nintendo Wii:
The access path for a Nintendo Wii is:
- Select Internet Channel
- Select WWW
- Type in the URL using the Wii remote www.digitv.gov.uk/lookinglocal (note that this short URL will only work correctly on a Nintendo Wii)
