Primary school admissions arrangements

Local Authorities (LA) are required by law to draw up a statutory scheme for co-ordinating admissions arrangements for all maintained schools in its area (excluding special schools, but including aided schools).

Primary school admissions arrangements for 2017 to 2018

The 2017 to 2018 admission arrangements have been determined by the Executive Member for Education for Bracknell Forest. Admission policies have also been determined by school's governing bodies for aided schools and academies in the borough.

Primary school admissions arrangements for 2016 to 2017

The 2016 to 2017 admission arrangements have been determined by the Executive Member for Education for Bracknell Forest. Admission policies have also been determined by school's governing bodies for aided schools and academies in the borough.

You can make an objection to the Office of the School's Adjudicator if you think that the arrangements we have set, or school's or academy's arrangements are:

  • unlawful
  • not in compliance with the School Admissions Code
  • not in compliance with relevant law relating to admissions

To do this:

• complete a school admissions arrangements objection form.

Objections to admission arrangements for entry to September 2016 must be referred to the Adjudicator by 15 May 2016.
