How would you like to earn and learn at the same time?
Available to 16-24 year olds, modern apprenticeships within Bracknell Forest Council combine practical work with structured training, to give you a national recognised qualification and the experience you need to get the job you really want.
By choosing a modern apprenticeship you can earn good money, depending on the type of apprenticeship you chose, whilst you get both work based training and off-the-job training.
Depending the level of apprenticeship undertaken, apprentices who successfully complete their apprenticeship will gain a NVQ level 2 or level 3 in their chosen area of interest, a technical certificate, key skills in Communication and Working with Numbers plus additional qualifications which vary from subject to subject.
The next round of applications will be in the spring of 2009. For further information, contact Karen Viney on 01344 352062.
Please note that Bracknell Forest Council will no longer be offering apprenticeships in craft trades such as plumbing and heating, carpentry, bricklaying and trowel operations and electrical intallations. This is due to the transfer of our housing stock to Bracknell Forest Homes. For further enquiries, please contact Bracknell Forest Homes on 01344 382848.
All of our apprenticeship vacancies will be shown on the jobs pages of our website.
