Community Safety

TreeOne of Bracknell Forest Borough Council’s Medium Term Objectives for 2008-11 is set out under Priority 4: ‘To reduce crime and increase people’s sense of safety in the Borough' by:

Community safety in Bracknell Forest is co-ordinated by the Crime and Disorder Reduction Team, in conjunction with other agencies, and we are committed to ensuring that Bracknell Forest remains one of the safest places to live and work in Berkshire. This is important not just to make a positive impact on those who live and work in the Borough but also to ensure the sustainability of the communities within the Borough. A safe and secure community is also more likely to be a prosperous community.

On this site, you can find information relating to our Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP), its recent Strategic Assessment of crime and disorder in the Borough as well as its Partnership Plan for 2008-2011, which sets out its targets and objectives for the next 3 years.
