Social care providers training
The council provides training to support social care providers in the private, independent and voluntary sector. Our goal is to provide organisations and individuals with a range of courses, qualifications and development opportunities to support staffing this important area.
Who are the courses for?
Priority will be given to organisations and individuals that are working within a contractual arrangement to provide care to adults, children and young people who fall under the support of the council.
In addition, places may be offered to organisations and individuals who are able to demonstrate health and social care outcomes for residents of Bracknell Forest, subject to approval by the Central Unit for Learning and Development.
Is there a charge?
There is a charge for the majority of the courses we provide, which will be invoiced for immediately after a booking has been made. Details are shown on the training calendar. There will be a charge of double the attendance fee for anyone who books a place, but fails to attend.
There is no cost for certificates for:
- Safeguarding Adults 1, 2 & 3
- One day First Aid, Medication
- Food Hygiene
- Health and Safety
If you require a certificate for any other course, the cost will be £10 per person for each course you would like a certificate. Please complete the certificate request form and enclose a cheque addressed to Bracknell Forest Council.
