Supporting you in your home
If you need support with every day tasks, we may be able to provide help with the following:
- preparing a meal
- getting in or out of bed
- dressing or undressing
- looking after your money
- reminding you to take medication
If you are eligible for any of these services you may need to contribute something towards the cost. We will carry out a financial assessment and benefits check for you to determine any contribution you are required to make.
To see if you are eligible for support please contact us to arrange an assessment.
What happens if I am not eligible or fund my own support?
If you are not eligible for support from us or fund your own support we can still give you advice about where to get help in the local area.
Finding services in the community
If you want to find your own support we have a community directory, called the iHub. This will give you advice and information on services and organisations in your local area.
My Care My Home are an organisation offering advice, support and guidance for people who need support and who pay for this support themselves.
We also have a Support with Confidence scheme which can help you find someone such as a personal assistant that you can trust. This person will be registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
