For The Look Out staff, organising birthday parties is a piece of cake! Book your child's birthday party with us now!
Parties are available all year around for children aged 5-12 years old. Each group is assigned a party explainer who will remain with you throughout the party, helping you get more out of your visit at the hands-on science and nature exhibition.
Children's parties include a meeting with Eric our mascot owl, he's a hoot!
Eric will deliver a special present to the birthday girl or boy. You will get a 10% discount card to use in the gift shop. Alternatively, choose from our range of party bags, which are priced between £1.55 and £3.40, (which already include a 10% discount). The party also includes free invitations. We will send you the invitations by post, but they are also available to download from this page. A party at The Look Out is something different, exciting and fun!
We are happy to provide catering for your party. Please look at our birthday party leaflet for food options. We also have a self-catering option if you would prefer to supply your own food. Don't forget to bring your own birthday cake!
Parents are asked to provide adult supervision at a ratio of 1 adult to every 6 children. A maximum of 4 adults may be admitted without charge, extra adults are subject to the normal admission rates.

- 3.00pm - 5.00pm
Term time
- 4.00pm - 6.00pm Fridays
- 4.00pm - 5.30pm or 4.30pm - 6.00pm (exhibition only, no room hire)
