Trains - information and advice
There are two main rail operators providing services for Bracknell Forest residents.
South West Trains stop at Bracknell and Martins Heron stations. Trains go to Reading and London Waterloo and stations in between. From Feltham station on this line, there is a bus service to Heathrow Airport. A non-stop coach service runs between Reading Station and Heathrow Airport.
First Great Western trains run through Bracknell Forest and provide access to Gatwick Airport (via Redhill) and Reading, with stations at Sandhurst and Crowthorne.

Getting to the station
Cycle parking is available at all rail stations in the borough.
PlusBus is a discounted bus ticket for people making a combined rail and bus journey. It allows unlimited local bus travel around town at the start, the end, or on both ends of your train journey. This could be especially appealing to commuters who currently drive to the railway station and pay for parking.
For more information and a map showing the area where you can use a Bracknell PlusBus ticket, download the PlusBus leaflet or visit the national Plusbus website.
Bracknell Forest Council offers a subsidised railcard as an alternative to a bus pass to residents aged over 65 and for disabled people who are renewing their railcard. These railcards give holders a third off most standard and first-class rail fares across Great Britain for a whole year. For more information about this, please visit our travel concessions page.
