Bracknell Forest Council Elections
The Council has whole Council elections every four years and these are combined with elections to the six parish/town councils in the Borough.
The next scheduled combined Borough/Parish elections will be held in May 2011.
Parliamentary Elections
UK Parliamentary elections are not held on fixed dates and can be up to five years apart. A general election to elect the new Parliament must be held by no later than Thursday 3 June 2010.
European Parliamentary Elections
Bracknell Forest Borough and the Bracknell Constituency are part of the South East Region for European elections. The region returns a total of 10 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
European Parliamentary Elections take place every five years, with the next being in 2014.
Old Bracknell Ward By-Election
A by-election is to be held in the Old Bracknell Ward of Bracknell Town Council following the recent death of Cllr Barbara Smith (Conservative).
Four candidates have been validly nominated and their details can be viewed in the Statement of Persons Nominated which is displayed in the downloads section to the right of this page..
The poll to determine the successful candidate will be held on Thursday 25 March. Polling hours will be 7am to 10pm. The polling places are the Easthampstead Baptist Church in South Hill Road and the Easthampstead and Wildridings Community Centre in Rectory Lane, Bracknell.
The Notice of Poll will be available to view on 17 March and the results of the poll will be posted on 26 March.
