Future Elections
Bracknell Forest Council Elections
The Council has whole Council elections every four years and these are combined with elections to the six parish/town councils in the Borough.
The next scheduled combined Borough/Parish elections will be held in May 2015.
Parliamentary Elections
At present UK Parliamentary elections are not held on fixed dates and can be up to five years apart. However following the 2011 General Election it has been suggested that fixed term Parliaments will be introduced, with Thursday 5 May 2015 identified as the likely next General Election date - the legislation to introduce this fixed term arrangement has not yet been approved.
European Parliamentary Elections
Bracknell Forest Borough and the Bracknell Constituency are part of the South East Region for European elections. The region returns a total of 10 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
European Parliamentary Elections take place every five years, with the next being in 2014.
Parish and Town Council Elections
Elections of each Parish and Town Council occur every four years (and are combined with the Borough Council Elections). The next scheduled combined Borough/Parish elections will be held in May 2015.
