Local neighbourhood recycling sites
There are many public recycling sites in the borough. You can recycle glass, cartons, books, CDs, textiles and shoes at public recycling sites.
'Leave your cap on' glass bottles
re3 is encouraging residents to include the screw tops from glass bottles when they bring them to glass recycling banks.
Glass bottles, such as wine, spirits and cooking oils often come with aluminium screw tops which can be recycled along with the glass.
You can also leave the lids on your glass jars.
Textile banks
At textile banks you can recycle the following items even if they are well worn or damaged:
- clothing
- handbags
- belts
- bed linens
- blankets
- towels
- underwear
- shoes

The materials we collect are sent for processing.
