This funding is available to eligible people in the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
As part of our continued support of migrants, we accept funding applications for careers and language support.
Support is only considered where the need is a direct result of your displacement to the UK. Applications are only accepted where free support is not meeting the need of the individual guest.
Awards are for a maximum of £300 per person.
Applying more than once
You can make one application each academic term. If you are successful, your previous applications will count towards the £300 cap.

Use our online form to apply. The deadline to apply is 31 March 2024.
Apply for additional language and careers support
Applications are reviewed by the migration project team. They will tell the applicant the decision within 1 month of their application.
If you need to apply for more than £300
In exceptional circumstances, applications for higher than the £300 limit may be approved.
To be eligible for this, you must show that the cost is needed to access the required level of language or career. If this is the case, we will also ask you to carry out a financial assessment before coming to a decision.

How the money is paid
When you apply we will ask you to attach an invoice, and we will then pay the provider directly.
In some circumstances we will pay you. If this is the case, you must send a receipt of the support to the migration team within 28 days of the payment.
Misuse of funds
If we become aware of non-attendance at paid for support or misuse of funds provided, we hold the right to investigate these and may withhold any future support from the individual.
