Visit Swinley forest
The Look Out is based at the edge of Swinley Forest. The woodland is owned and managed by the Crown Estate, and stretches over 2,600 acres of gentle hills from Bracknell to Crowthorne.
Our visitors love the forest, and many people use The Look Out as a base to explore the surrounding area.
For visitor information on safety and policies (including ticks, trees and water), please visit the Windsor Great Park website.
The Crown Estate are carrying out timber harvesting at Swinley Forest from Wednesday 25 November.
The work, which is part of the sustainable management of the forest, will go on for 2 to 3 months.
When visiting the forest, please keep well clear of working machinery and observe warning signs and directions from operators.
We expect no impact on car park, outdoor playground and takeaway coffee shop facilities.
