The Mysterious Melody with SP K-Mushambi

What keeps waking the twins up so early…. it’s not the birds singing….if it’s not Cooper the dog from next door! It certainly isn’t Baba’s alarm which wakes the whole neighbourhood though surprise, surprise it never wakes up their father! What is that strange sound?

Discover the strange sounds and more with our African drums, maracas and other musical instruments and create noise and mayhem with SP K-Mushambi.

About the author

SP K-Mushambi

SP K-Mushambi loves to create – whether it’s baking, dancing or writing songs. She loves to learn about other cultures and enjoys finding how they relate to her own heritage.

K-Mushambi was raised in Zimbabwe. Her 20 year career started in banking and she now lives in Berkshire with her family.

Her debut children’s book “The Mysterious Melody” weaves the tapestry of her African cultural heritage and addresses themes such as confidence, cooperation, friendship and identity.

She is the co-founder of Naniso Create which is guided by the motto “Imagine it. Create it. Inspire.” By using storytelling, education, and events in a fun and imaginative way she hopes to touch the hearts and minds of children of all backgrounds with positive representations of Africa within literature and artistic output.
