Storytelling with Judit Catan

Join Judit Catan for an interactive storytime. She will be reading from Visit Rachel's World.

This is an opportunity for young authors to meet an author and work together to learn more about the process of writing and it’s infinite rewards. The workshop will include a simple questionnaire relating the book’s subject matter. Children will be invited to read bits from one small event in the book.

About the author

Judit Catan

Born in Israel, Judit Catan writes as a way of reflecting on life. She first wrote in Hebrew but has been writing in English since she moved to the UK 30 years ago.

Judit is a poet, musical writer, and the author of 2 unpublished novels. Her passion for English drew her to the UK, where she studied English at Reading University. Thereafter, she taught English at secondary level, before embarking on her twin careers of parenting and writing.

She is married and a mother of two grown-up daughters. Her passion for bringing to the surface unorthodox truths about liberty and commitment is a guiding principle in her writing. She also upholds the principle of hope as a silver lining in the midst of dark times in all her writing.
