Mindfulness

Explore how mindfulness can benefit your everyday life. Discover techniques for everyday relaxation and focus.

Taster sessions

From 10am to 10:45am come to our free taster session to find out about mindfulness and ask questions with Joy Devlin.

Group sessions

When: 11am to 11:45am

Cost: £2.50

Yoga for people who don’t do yoga

Learn how to relax and build strength and harmony.

Where: Bracknell library

When:

  • Monday 24 February, 1pm to 2:15pm
  • Monday 2 March, 1pm to 2:15pm
  • Monday 9 March, 1pm to 2:15pm
  • Monday 16 March, 1pm to 2:15pm

Cost: £20

Book onto the yoga for people who don't do yoga (February start) course.

Pilates

Join our new Pilates club. For adults of all abilities. All equipment is provided and the session is led by a qualified trainer.

Where: Bracknell library

When: starts Monday 24 February then every Monday, 3pm to 4pm

Cost: £8 per session.

Booking is required.

Relaxation for children - for 5 to 11 years (term time only)

Reduce anxiety, sleep better, feel calmer and happier, improve concentration at school, and boost confidence with our relaxation sessions for children and teenagers.

Where: Ascot Heath library

When: 4pm, every Monday.

Cost: £1.20

Tuesday

Tai Chi

Reduce stress and improve posture with our weekly Tai Chi sessions.

Where: Bracknell library

When: every Tuesday at the following times:

  • 10:30am to 11:30am – for beginners
  • 11:45am to 12:45pm – for intermediates
  • 1pm to 2pm - for those with more experience

When: 1:30pm to 2:30pm on the last Thursday of the month.

Friday

Meditation for adults

Tai Chi - beginner

Beginner level for those new to Tai Chi. Please wear comfortable clothing.

When: midday to 1pm every Friday.

Tai Chi - intermediate

Intermediate level for those who have attended previous classes at the library or done Tai Chi before.
