Charity Gala Dinner for Sebastian’s Action Trust

As a conclusion to his Mayoral year, The Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest, Councillor Tony Virgo, was pleased to hold a James Bond themed charity gala dinner at the Coppid Beech Hotel. The event was in aid of his chosen charity Sebastian's Action Trust.

Guests to the event, held on Saturday (22 April), were entertained by The Voice contestant, Liza Baker as well as two talented sixth form students from Garth Hill College – Robert Onditi and Ricardo Fernandes. BBC radio presenter and former Wales footballer, Andy Williams also entertained guests by conducting the auction.

Councillor Virgo said:

The evening was a great success, we raised a huge amount for charity and had a great time. My thanks go to everyone who came and supported the event and all the local companies who donated prizes.

The funds raised will contribute to a new purpose built facility in the Bracknell Forest area for Sebastian’s Action Trust to reach even more families and children with serious illnesses.
