On 9 August 2017 the second Lexicon Jobs Fair will take place at Garth Hill College, offering potential candidates a valuable opportunity to meet with retailers and restauranteurs to discuss job roles ahead of The Lexicon opening on 7 September 2017.
Taking place from 11:30am to 7pm, the event will give visitors time to discuss both seasonal and permanent roles with more than 20 retailers, including Bill’s, Carluccio’s, Nandos, Next, Seasalt and Youngs. Plus a first look at recently signed brands, Tiger Stores and Coffee Barker, who will be showcasing a range of vacancies.
Rob Morris, general manager at Bracknell Regeneration Partnership says:
The excitement is rising as the second Jobs Fair takes place with less than 1 month to go until The Lexicon opens!
We look forward to welcoming new and existing retailers and restauranteurs who have a variety of job roles on offer.
Just like our previous events, the Jobs Fair will give people of all ages and experiences a great chance to find out more about part time, full time and seasonal work across multiple sectors – all in one room!
The first Lexicon Jobs Fair welcomed more than 2,000 potential applicants to find out more about vacancies in the new town centre. To spread the flow of candidates and maximise the effectiveness of this second event for everyone, interested candidates should pre-register their attendance for one of four timeslots (11am to 1:30pm, 2pm to 4:30pm or 4:30pm to 7pm) on The Lexicon’s website.
Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration, says
The first jobs fair was really well attended and so I’m delighted that residents will get another chance to find out what exciting employment opportunities are available right on their doorstep.
Whether a first job, a change of role or getting back into work, there are still a number of positions available to suit all ages and experience at The Lexicon.
I would encourage anyone interested to sign up to the jobs fair to find out exactly what roles are on offer.
