Her Majesty The Queen
Bracknell Forest Council and The Lexicon are delighted to announce that Bracknell town centre is due to be visited by Her Majesty The Queen on Friday, 19 October.

The Queen will be received by Mr James Puxley, Lord Lieutenant for the Royal County of Berkshire, before being welcomed Cllr Paul Bettison OBE, Leader of Bracknell Forest Council and Chief Executive, Timothy Wheadon.

The royal party will be taken on a tour of The Lexicon, where The Queen will be introduced to a number of the people who were instrumental in creating the town’s new social and cultural and heart.

The Queen will also be invited to meet some of the town’s key retailers, the scheme’s architects and main artist.

The Queen will be unveiling a commemorative plaque during the visit.

Please note, it is protocol not to publicly announce the exact timing of royal visits. However, we can confirm Her Majesty The Queen is expected late morning.
