In the final year of the WW1 Centenary the giant poppies will be going out for the last time this year.
The iconic poppies, an initiative first introduced by Bracknell Forest Council members in 2013, have been reinstalled once again at the various roundabouts and locations across the borough ahead of Armistice Day.
Cllr Mrs Dorothy Hayes MBE, executive member for the environment, said:
"Over the years of the WW1 1914-1918 Centenary, the poppies have become a familiar landmark to those who travel in the local area. Some of the poppies have sustained damage and even gone missing in action. They are now showing a degree of wear but we still have 27 of them and they have kindly been refurbished and installed once again by our partners Continental Landscapes Ltd (CLL). We are proud to display them one last time in this important centenary year.”
